The world peace drum event

* It is possible to see an expansion image when clicking a photograph.

The first beating event of the world peace drum was done in the Yamanashi Prefecture which is known on "diamond Fuji" which can see a sunrise Day from the midnight to New Year's on December 31st. As for this event, 28 organizations which belong to the Yamanashi Taiko fountation, 108 drums and 120 drumers took part in it. They performed "Meiho" and congratulated on the opening of 21 century and completion of the biggest drum.
It was broadcasted by NHK "Yukutoshi Kurutoshi", it was beat simultaneously with the sunrise and was sent to the world through NHK.

A world peace drum completion　ceremony was held at the world peace
drum keeping building (in the Sasaichi sake brewing). At this time, the measurement of the drum for the Guinness world record subscription application was done.

100 drums performance of Yamanshi Taiko foundation played "Sankyo" in front of the Emperor and Empress as Arbor Day.The world peace drum was also performed together.
